The Coral Triangle 2014 was a three-day public awareness event organized by Destructive Fishing Watch-Indonesia. On June 8, about a thousand people converged on Losari Beach in Makassar affixed their signatures to a huge banner signifying their commitment to reef conservation and a community movement called Indonesia Coral Reef Action Network (I-CAN) was launched.
