Happy Independence Day Malaysia!

On behalf of the member countries of the Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries and Food Security (CTI-CFF) and the management and staff of the Regional Secretariat of CTI-CFF, I have a great pleasure and honor to extend my sincere congratulations to Your Excellency, the Government, and the entire people of Malaysia on the occasion of the 64th Anniversary of Independence Day of Malaysia.

In this moment of great challenges and opportunities, the partnership between the Government of Malaysia and member countries of CTI-CFF is more important than ever. The good cooperation and relations we have established through the years would surely flourish and grow towards our continued shared goal of providing food security and sustainable livelihood in the Coral Triangle region.

May Allah, the Almighty brings forth peace, good health, progress and prosperity to you Excellency as well as to the Government and people of Malaysia today and in the years ahead.
