About This Event

  1. The event Is composed Of a 2‐day workshop and a 1‐day write shop aimed to generate inputs and insights from CTI-CFF Stakeholders on how to integrate CTI-CFF’s cross cutting initiatives into the RPOA 2.0 with a view to developing a roadmap for activities going forward.
  2. This supports the implementation of CTI-CFF Regional Plan of Action 2.0 and the UN Sustainable Development Goal #5 which is to achieve Gender Equality and empower women and girls and Goal #14 which is to protect life below water.

 

 

 

Objectives

  1. The overall goals of the workshop are to give adequate consideration to the CTI-­CFF cross cutting initiatives (Women Leaders Forum, Local Government Network and Regional Business Forum) that engage three core constituencies and stakeholders, sustain and scale up initiatives, and provide specific opportunities for integration into CTI-­CFF activities from 2020-­2025.
  2. This workshop is specifically designed to engage a cadre of coastal and marina management professionals who are eager and committed to furthering women's leadership in coastal and marine resource management efforts.
