the online consultation meeting regarding GEF-8 proposal development

Objectives

The CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat would like to express our gratitude for your contributions and support to the GEF-8 Proposal Development meeting on the 3 August 2023.

Following the productive discussions during the meeting, we have taken several actions to advance the development of our GEF-8 proposal. These actions include the circulation of the draft GEF-8 Project Identification Form, the List of GEF Proposal Writing Committee, and the List of Follow Up Actions, which outlines the timeframe for necessary steps as agreed upon during the meeting. Please refer to the draft GEF-8 Project Identification Form and updated GEF Proposal Writing Committee (Attachment 2 and 3).

Additionally, these efforts have been acknowledged in the Chair Summary of the Financial Resources Working Group (FRWG) Meeting held on August 29, 2023. Referring to the FRWG meeting and to ensure the seamless progress of our GEF-8 proposal development, we would like to extend an invitation to the National Coordinating Committees (NCC) of the CT3 (ID, MY and PH) countries to participate in an online Zoom consultation meeting with Professor Mumby from University of Queensland on Monday, September 25, 2023, on 10.00 AM (Manado Time).
