Board of Professors of UGM at the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat
In a spirit of shared commitment to advancing sustainable development, a delegation of distinguished professors from Gajah Mada University (UGM) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, embarked on a journey to the heart of North Sulawesi. This academic endeavor, known as the 'Professors go to Frontiers' program, was organized by the Board of Professors of UGM, with a focused agenda centered around the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Under the overarching theme of "Collaboration for the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals in North Sulawesi: Boundary Integrity, Technology, and the Enhancement of Maritime Economy and Marine Tourism," the professors visited the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat in Manado, and were welcomed by the Deputy Executive Director for Corporate Services, Mr. Gustaaf Lumiu.
The visit to the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat was just one facet of the broader expedition to North Sulawesi, where the esteemed professors engaged with a diverse spectrum of stakeholders. Their journey included meetings with the provincial government, district authorities, coastal communities, and accomplished professionals. Throughout the meeting in the Regional Secretariat, the exchange of information flowed effortlessly. Ideas sparked and concepts took shape as the professors and the Regional Secretariat team engaged in a spirited discourse.
