Coral Triangle Women's Leaders Forum Announces Laura Whitford as New Co-Chair
The Coral Triangle Women Leaders' Forum (WLF) is proud to announce our new Co-Chair Ms. Laura Whitford The Nature Conservancy!
Laura Whitford is the Director of Marine Strategies and Partnerships for The Nature Conservancy's Asia Pacific Program. She has worked on international environment and climate change issues over 14 years, focused primarily on policy and government relations in support ofconservation initiatives in the Asia Pacific. She leads TNC's engagement with the six-country Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries and Food Security (CTI-CFF) and is proud to have helped establish the CTI-CFF'S Women Leaders' Forum. She is passionate about the intersection of women's empowerment, natural resource management, and community development.
She has graduate degrees in Environment and Development, Communication Management, and Psychology, and is based in Melbourne, Australia.
