CTI-CFF High Level Financial Roundtable Set

The CTI-CFF High Level Financial Roundtable is set for May 3, 2012 and will be held as a special event during the 45th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila, Philippines.  The event will consist of a formal meeting and marketplace sessions. 

The roundtable will be conducted to provide a venue for the Coral Triangle Initiative countries and the Regional Secretariat to generate additional funding for the implementation of the CTI-CFF National Plans of Action (NPOAs) and Regional Plan of Action, and for the donors to communicate their funding priorities. Development partners are currently supporting CTI-CFF National Coordinating Committees in Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste to prepare a financial strategy document.  In this document, each country will detail priority actions in their NPOAs, calculate cost for the activities, analyze balance sheet and funding gaps, review alternative strategy and viable long-term funding mechanism.  The document and other supplementary information materials, such as activity brochures, posters and others will also be utilized during discussions with potential donors and partners during the roundtable.
