CTI-CFF participates in the 51st Meeting of the SEAFDEC Council

The CTI-CFF through its Regional Secretariat participates in the 51st Meeting of the SEAFDEC Council in Surabaya, Indonesia from 18-22 March 2019. The CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat is represented by Interim Executive Director Dr. Hendra Yusran Siry; Deputy Executive Director for Program Services Dr. Sharifah Nora Ibrahim; and Program Support Officer Mr. Ayodya Satryo Anggorojati. 

Part of the Agenda is the discussion on policy considerations on important issues such as combating IUU Fishing; emerging issues such as CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) issues and implementation of SDG 14; and regional cooperation to promote sustainable fisheries and aquaculture in the ASEAN Region.
