EU Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei visits CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat

Manado, Indonesia, February 2020 – H.E. Vincent Piket, European Union Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, visited the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat and met with Dr. Mohd Kushairi Mohd Rajuddin, Executive Director of the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat, on 21st February 2020.

During the meeting, Dr. Kushairi, along with the Regional Secretariat management, briefly explained about CTI-CFF, its accomplishments, and future plans and activities.

H.E. Ambassador Piket expressed interest in learning more about the initiative and how it functions, as the European Union is supporting a project on marine biodiversity in Indonesia.

H.E. Ambassador Piket was accompanied by Dr. Insa Ewert, Project Officer from the Development Section of the Delegation of the European Union to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam.

Dr. Kushairi was accompanied by Dr. Sharifah Nora Ibrahim, Deputy Executive Director for Program Services, and Mr. Gustaaf Lumiu, Deputy Executive Director for Corporate Services.
