Passing of the former Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea

On behalf of the CTI-CFF, the Regional Secretariat of CTI-CFF comprising of six member coun expresses its heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the family of the former Prime Minister H.E. Sir Michael Thomas Somare and the government as well as the people of Papua New Guinea on his passing.

H.E. Somare was a well respected leader and a key figure in Papua New Guinea. CTI-CFF greatly honors the commitment H.E. Somare had given to CTI-CFF in realizing the organization’s goal. In this moment of sorrow, please accept our profound sympathies and our reassurance that CTI-CFF will honor and remember the valuable contribution of H.E. Sir Michael Thomas Somare of Papua New Guinea.
